Luo Baihui, secretary general of the Inteational Mold Association, pointed out that the main mold products in the development trend of the domestic hardware industry mold industry should be larger, more precise, more complex and more economical and fast, but at present, there are many main problems facing the development of my country's hardware mold abrasive industry:

The weak R&D strength is related to the small scale of the industry and the small number of scientific researchers, but more importantly, business leaders need to have a sense of collaborative innovation, and business leaders also need to strengthen leaing and innovative concepts in order to achieve innovative results. Second, the problem of overcapacity is prominent. The current production capacity of brown corundum is about 4.3 million tons, and the capacity utilization rate is less than 30%. According to the information of the branch, there are still about 250,000 tons of production capacity under construction and expansion, which will further exacerbate the production of excess capacity.

The production capacity of green silicon carbide is about 2 million tons, and the capacity utilization rate is about 15%. There are still a lot of outdated production capacities. Enterprises are slow in adjusting product structure and eliminating outdated production capacity. The homogeneity of products is serious. Under the circumstance that electricity prices, labor costs, and raw material costs continue to increase, enterprises can only use lower prices to spread low costs, which is also an important reason why prices have not gone up.

3. There are still outstanding problems in clean production, especially in smelting. The discharge of waste water, waste gas, dust and other pollutants in the abrasive processing process lacks control. Abrasives are likened to the teeth of industry", which play an indispensable role in railway construction. With the further advancement of my country's railway construction, grinding machines and equipment for railway processing, as well as powerful grinding wheels for rail dressing, are facing huge development space. The development of the hardware mold abrasive industry can not only improve the image and brand of its own enterprise, but also can be applied to many domestic industries.
